Great place to eat healthy. I love everything about this place. Great service too.

Love this place for the salads and bread sticks, bake potatoes were luke warm! Ice cream was watery !

This restaurant is old and dated and badly in need of a renovation. The food bars are always well attended and kept clean. The table service is always attentive at removing dishes and refilling water. The food is good but unremarkable. The price is good for all that is available: salads of several varieties, several soups, a taco bar, potatos, pizza, breads and muffins, and a soft serve ice cream machine.

If you like salads, soups and dessert in a buffet style atmosphere, this is a perfect place for you. Only reason they didn't get 5 stars is because some of the kitchen staff do not care about the presentation of how they put things out. Hint they could be cleaner. Other than that everything is fresh and taste good. Staff is friendly.

I always find plenty yo eat. Place is clean enough, but the atmosphere is somewhat deoressing..dull. Could use some freshening up.

My salad was great. Loved the addition of fresh grapes and dried tart cranberries. Didn't get a chance to try the soups because my salad was too big. A group of us went in today to try out for our monthly birthday celebration lunch. Staff helpful. We all enjoyed everything and will be coming back again!

The service here is amazing ! Our server was so consistent and sweet ! I love having so many different options . They even have Asian inspired options now . Wonderful food for a great price . It is a favorite place to have dinner with my mom .

The food was okay and the staff was friendly. Location getting a little old and a little dirty nothing too bad. The biggest disappointment was the ice cream machine was broken. Of course that's my kids favorite thing.

The salad bar has quite a variety of options, so that's the main reason we come here. Then round out your meal with one (or two!) of four soups. Baked potato bar, several breads add to the fun. We always end our meal with the soft serve ice cream, and we always leave satisfied.

I stopped in yesterday to grab dinner before my second shift at work and the cashier, I believe her name was Julie, was absolutely amazing. I left my card and she was very patient while I dug through my purse for cash. she even offered to help with the cost but I was able to find enough. It was right before closing time and usually people are very impatient at that time of the night but she was very helpful and I will definitely be back. The food was great and hit the spot.

Awesome variety. Soups are always hot and delicious. Their Asian Twist salad is great! And OMG, the tuna pasta salad! Great service, great environment!

Was a bit sad that they threw together their lemon soup with random veggies. one hostess stood out to me and was super nice. The other ones need to follow her example.

The food is hearty, healthy, and delicious. I applaud them on their use of baby Kale for the salad bar. Amazing. They also keep vegan proteins on hand I'm never disappointed by their soups. I'm a vegetarian, and there is always one, and sometimes 2 delicious vegetarian soups. Usually lentil vegetable (vegan), vegetable soup (vegan), broccoli and cheese, potato, or tomato basil. Even kids can find something delicious for after salad with their breads, muffins, pizza, ice cream, and pudding. The price tops it off. 2 adults can eat all they can and drink all they want for about $22. Keep in mind the servers get paid wait staff wages, so tip a little something. They work hard to keep the place clean, the food fresh, and the food bar wiped down. They will also bring you drinks and food if you let them. I would like to see more vegan and vegetarian soups. And the staff should be paid minimum wage plus tips.

Very very unclean. The stacks of trays have crumbs and food debris on them. The "clean" trays. The floors have food visibility underneath them. Sat at a freshly wiped down table plastered with sticky crumbs, so it's a matter of a lack of standards. I've eaten here at times it wasn't disgusting so I added a star.

I love going here and I wish there were more locations in San Antonio and the surrounding area.

A salad and soup buffet . All kinds of toppings and types of lettuce. They also have other stuff such as baked potatoes and pizza. The food is fresh and the service is pleasant. 8.99 for an adult buffet which is reasonable for the great options. Plus all you can eat. They also have deserts which are very good.

Dear owner, I would've given it a 5 star, but when I reaching over for a baked potato..i kinda hesitated to get one but since I'd been craving one I went ahead & got one. They looked like they had been there for hours & another thing, they were way to small. I payed for my food, I wasn't a charity case to where I got served scraps! I dont know why the Souper Salad on heimer & bitters closed. My late husband & I used used to eat there all the time & the wait staff were wonderful people & they had more of a variety of food!!Thank you!!

My one go place for great salads and soups! The food is great and the customer service is also great. Only wish there were more locations. This is the only location in San Antonio.

I have the freedom to make the salad my way and vegan all the way if I want to.

Every time I have come to this Souper Salad it is HOT! Like the a/c doesn't work. However, the staff is usually helpful and willing to get you something if you need it. The food has been fresher this time around, sometimes the salad looks a little wilted but over all it's worth the $8.50 buffet.

I really loved the food and the staff was friendly. My only problem from given them 5 stars is the restrooms, the lady kept coming to our table to see how we were, but honestly, we get it our selves, so if they would pay more attention to the restrooms and keeping them tidy. Though I don't understand why customers can't act like it is their house and if they treat their house that way dear Lord, help them.

If you are trying to watch your weight this is a good alternative when wanting to eat out .but if you're not careful you can overdo it with the soup and the salad dressing on the salad as well as baked potatoes both of chili and tacos and other baked goods that they serve

Good variety , food is delicious 😋. The cost is good too. They have great Mac and cheese , baked potato , the pizza is good too . They have ice cream but I didn’t try it yet.

This place has gone down hill. Prices increased and the quality went down. The food isnt as fresh and as appetizing as it use to be. I'll stick with Jasons Delis salad bar.

Pretty good salad & soup. The rest is a bit over processed. Attendances were nice and efficient in cleaning and putting out the food. The place is pretty clean, but could use a bit more attention to some areas. I’m sure their employees are doing their best for a company who had its share of struggles.

This location needs a update, the floors and decor are past 20 years old, the food is still fresh and the staff welcoming.

First time here at this Souper Salad and it was a good experience. Food was great, and the staff was excellent, from the cashier, to the guy behind the food, and our server... Everyone was awesome! The place was clean and the decor was pretty nice inside. I didn't like the chili, it was really salty for my taste. Eating the chili was equivalent to licking a salt lick. But, other than the chili everything else was pretty darn good and I would recommend this place. So, would I revisit this Souper Salad... Yes I would.

Run!! Don’t waste your money here. The atmosphere is mainly elderly people and I think they deserve better quality food and service,this place reminded me of the TV show Chef Ramsey where he goes and tries to help businesses out, the corn bread muffins were cold and I asked the lady to trash the ones I gotten but instead she replied that’s the way the are supposed to be served, that’s an awful response and Customer service....god the only reason why i ended up here was that my daughter wanted salad. The peaches tasted awful as if they were left in the refrigerator from days ago,I also noticed the taco meat was not fresh made they have the meat in containers in the fridge ready to be warmed up and served, Shame that this place is still open and serving food.

Love to make my own salad! I pile it high with veggies, cheese and dressing!For three buffets, 3 cups of iced water, $28.50.

Super cool spot! Would recommend to anyone who is looking for a place like Sweet Tomatoes/Souplantion in San Antonio. Loved the vast choices at the salad bar.

Our waiter was the hardest working waiter we've ever had. He never let our glasses go empty and cleared our table of dirty dishes asap. He was AWESOME!

Used to be one of my favorite places to eat in Lubbock, while they still have a good selection a lot of the food was sub par and not the quality I came to expect. Ie lettuce and leaves seemed out of date or not washed properly. We came from out of town with our kiddos and were sorely disappointed.

So very overpriced. There is no reason a soup & salad buffet should be close to $30 for two people?

This place has rarely disappointed me. Everything is on point and fresh.
